Client: Howlers

The Howlers are a club ultimate frisbee team based in Little Rock. They needed a logo to go on the front of their jerseys with a custom font too.

The Howler is a cryptozoic animal, which is described as a black mountain lion with an eerie growl that is native to the Natural State. Since there are no pictures of a Howler, it gave us creative leeway in the creation of this logo. We ended up combining the facial features of a mountain lion with a bobcat, both native to the area. The finished piece is a shaggy, fierce, growling, large cat.

The font that we designed is reminiscent of a classic black and white horror flick and fits right in with a frisbee team named after a possible hoax.
